Two types of buyers
At GreenSky®, we tell our contractors over and over again: the key to success
is choosing a few highly targeted financing plans, then offering them to every
customer during every sales presentation. Real-world testing and years of
experience have taught us this is the case. We've also learned that there are only
two types of customers and there are financing offers that appeal to both of them:
Cash Buyers like to use "your money" to finance their windows & doors project
and/or to add options that help fulfill their vision of the home they wish to live
in. These customers will often appreciate a no interest*/no payment promotion
(interest is waived if purchase balance is paid in full within the promo period).
Affordable Payment Buyers are more likely to go for payment terms that fit into
their monthly cash flow. They know what they can afford to pay and they believe in
using their good credit to increase the value of their home and, like the cash buyer,
create a project that meets their vision.
