When Moty Ginsburg re-branded his small design and construction firm in 2010, he chose the name Treeium because it represented affordable, environmentally-friendly remodeling services. Since then, the name has also become synonymous with growth - but not the slow-and-steady kind. In fact, in 2017, the Southern California remodeling company ranked 35th on the Qualified Remodeler Magazine Top 500 list1 with $32 million in sales, and more than 1,300 projects.
In addition to the re-branding effort, Treeium developed their own software to help automate lead generation, marketing, customer relationship management, operations and more. They also created a client portal to simplify payments, approvals and communications.

According to Treeium’s Director of Financing Lizzette Carreno, the GreenSky® Loan Program fit perfectly with the company’s technology. “We LOVE GreenSky® because the application process is fast, easy and paperless,” said Ms. Carreno. “Staged funding is one of my favorite GreenSky® features, because the payments go hand-in-hand with the stages of our home improvement contract. This helps balance our cash flow with no extra cost to the client.”
Making Quality Affordable
Affordability is the key to how Treeium uses financing to support their sales process. “Our attempt is not to sell an increased price,” explained Ms. Carreno. “When we have settled on a contract amount, we begin with the lowest payment, to ensure it’s something the client can afford. Then, we work through the various options until we find the plan the client prefers.”
