How a Leading Windows & Doors Contractor uses Financing as a Tool for Growth.

C. Cashion Holdings sells and installs windows and doors for one of the nation’s largest and most popular brands. The company, which has six locations in two states, has doubled in size during the past several years. As Director of Consumer Finance, Patricia Mora has worked with a number of providers. RbA logo“There are lots of reasons,” said Ms. Mora. “Ease-of-use, and the fast application and decision process, are extremely important because we sell in the home. GreenSky’s staged funding is a huge factor along with how easy it is to get paid. I’m also impressed with the high approval rates and the number of financing plans that are available to our customers.”

Easy financing is a must

C. Cashion Holdings uses payment options as a sales tool. “Our average project is about $20K,” said Ms. Mora. “Most people don’t have that kind of cash on hand. However, the availability of payment options allows us to sell more than just the original project. When people know they have that much credit available to them, they can purchase what they want now.”

Speed matters

Speed is also high on Ms. Mora’s list of “must haves,” and there’s an important reason. “The faster application and decision process makes it easier for our reps in the home,” Ms. Mora explained. “Our presentation can take up to 90 minutes. When you have a stranger in your home that long, you’re ready for them to go. With some lenders, you can spend 30 minutes on the phone just for the application. The entire GreenSky process only takes a couple of minutes. That makes the customer experience much better,” she concluded.

Plans for success

“The vast number of available plans helps us to be more flexible with each customer,” said Ms. Mora. “If we’re sitting down with a customer who is payment oriented, we can offer payments that meet their needs. Or, if they’re driven by APRs, we have a vast number of plans available to fit whatever they are after. Then, the ending part of it. Collecting the money is so simple. As simple as swiping a credit card. It fits in with what we’re trying to accomplish as a company,” Ms. Mora concluded.

There’s more to come

Never ones to stand pat, Cashion is using technology to further streamline the customer experience and spur additional growth. “We’re moving to an online application process that’s integrated with the GreenSky portal,” said Ms. Mora. “It’s important to us that our customer’s entire experience, including the application, is as easy as possible and that it promotes our corporate brand.”
